The gas accident is the leading cause of deaths in China coal mines. So it is one of the subjects of safety production work, which urgently needed to solve presently in China coal mines, to identify all kinds of causes of gas accident completely and systematically and to carry out gas early-warning scientifically.Firstly, this paper reviews the composing and situation of gas monitoring and early-warning system presently in China, and analyses the current problems and limitations of monitoring and early-warning system based on this. After that, the paper identifies and analyses the hazards of gas accident in coal min based on the view of three types hazard theory, as well as deeply discusses the content of the first type, second type and third type hazard. By the analysing of the problem above, establishes a theoretical foundation for gas early-warning model building and gas hazard early-warning system constructing.Secondly, this paper introduces data fusion technique into the research of gas early-warning in coal mine after studied the gas early-warning based on traditional method and model. By the studying of basic theory and method of data fusion, we find out a multi-sensor data fusion arithmetic——fuzzy data fusion arithmetic, which is suitable for gas early-warning in coal mine, bring forward a mode of gas early-warning with fuzzy data fusion arithmetic in coal mine, and construct gas early-warning mathematical model based on fuzzy data fusion.Thirdly, the paper chooses several sets of monitoring data of sensor in one Henan coal mine to make case analysis. The analysis result shows that the model can effectively reduce the probability of no-alarm and error alarm caused by information limitation of single sensor, and decreases the system uncertainty, so as to improve performance of gas early-warning system some extent.Finally, this paper makes a primary design on evaluating system frame of gas hazard early-warning and makes a brief analysis on it, hoping to provide a meaningful way for gas control and early-warning in China coal mines.
