The production wastewater of one chemical factory contain THF in xi'an,and the quantity of wastewater is about 4500t/d.The wastewater is muddy,lunatia,and has irritating odor.pH is about 8.5,The COD and BOD is 21451.47mg/L and 4000mg/L,and BOD/COD is less than 0.2,.It is belongs to the high concentrations and difficult biochemistry degeneration wastewater.In the experiment,the way of pretreatment is UV/Fenton oxidation,then using UASB and biological contact oxidation to treat further.The total time of the experiment is more than 5 months.In the first three months,the UASB reactor cultivated the good granular sludge adapted to the THF wastewater,and the biological contact oxidation formed a mature biofilm.In the next experiment come the best operational parameters of UASB and biological contact oxidation by changing the conditions of experiment.Test results showed that for UASB,the best conditions are as following: HRT=24h,T=35℃,SS<100mg/L,Alk=1000mg/L-1200mg/L,C:N:P=250:5:1,pH=7.0 - 8.0,Nv= 6.0 kgCODCr/(m~3·d).Under the conditions,the removal rate of UASB is over 90%, and the UASB reactor has the ability of impact.For the biological contact oxidation,the best conditions are as following:pH=7.0-8.0,HRT=12h,T=20℃,DO=5mg/L,and the removal rate is over 95%.In the best conditions,the removal rate of combination process is over 99%.
