Electrostatic precipitators are ones of the most common particulate control devices used to cleaning fly ash and particles from coal fired boilers,cement factories and many other industrial processes.In order to satisfy the requirement specified in the modified standards about air pollution control,the enhancement and optimization of ESP is becoming an important challenge in this field.The behaviors of gas stream and solid discrete phase had been studied by numerical simulation,the gas flow velocity distribution and impact major factor in the gas distribution and distributing of solid phase's velocity and concentration had been get.In this paper,a horizontal electrostatic precipitator SHWB as the research object,the gas-solid two phase flow mathematical model had been established,numerical simulation of the relevant research had been done.First the influence of each force act on particles in inertia elutriator was analyzed.For gas stream,Reynolds-averaged model based on Euler method was used and model was applied to form algebraic finite volume equations.For solid phase, discrete phase model based on lagrange method was used considering coupling between gas and solid phase,in which interaction between particles and gas,as well as interaction between particles and wall were considered.Next the study of numerical simulation single-phase air flow field in the electrostatic precipitator was established,the air distribution plate opening rate, and imports of wind speed on the impact of airflow uniformity was analyzed.Simulation results showed that imports of wind speed increases with the airflow uniformity has been a greater influence,the results also show that under the conditions of 35% air distribution plate opening rate the airflow uniformity of distribution was the best.Finally,based on uniform gas flow field introduced particle-phase,numerical simulation of particle-phase in Electrostatic precipitator on has been studied.The characteristics of the particles, three-dimensional velocity distribution the laws of movement and settlement of different size particles have been get.
