The technology of employing the antirusting oil with the mechanism of high-voltage negative corona plasma discharge to carry on charging, atomization and spraying is a new item of steel plate spraying technology. This technology combine the basic principle of high-voltage electro-static plasma discharge, droplets electro-static charge, droplets charged atomization and the controlling method of electric field and flow field together, thus achieve the goal of the steady atomization of antirusting oil and scribbling on surface of belted steel evenly.First, this paper relied on the electrostatic oiler produced by group of Wuhan University of Science and Technology as the research platform, according to the research on the mechanism of negative corona plasma discharge in electro static oiler, the parameters in the course of discharge were analyzed, and the breakdown condition in oiler room was discussed, negative corona discharge C-V characteristic curve, current-electric field relation curve and the discharge breakdown mathematic model in oiler room and so on have been obtained. According to a simple analysis on oiler spraying with the mechanism of negative corona plasma discharge, we have found that, the factors such as the effect of oil charged atomization and the length of jet and so on, all affected by the discharge effect, and through the negative corona plasma discharge characteristics, for instance the C-V characteristic curve and current-electric field relation curve, etc, the effect of charging atomization, even the effect of spraying could be predicted.Next, the successful innovation application of electrostatic oiler with secondary atomization device has been introduced, then MATLAB PDE tool box was utilized to a simple electric field analog simulation on the electrostatic oiler with secondary atomization device, an analysis has been carried on from the simulation results and with the mechanism of negative corona plasma discharge. This simulation and analysis, on the one hand, the rationality of the mechanism of negative corona plasma discharge applied in the technology of electro static spraying has been verified, and on the other hand, the theory evidence has been supplied for the application of the secondary atomization device.
