At present, Wastewater Treatment Plant which have a function of nitrogen and phosphorus removal have difficult to attain desire. In addition to production management, technical and operational reasons, the lack of carbon sources is an important reason. Therefore, the study in the choice of carbon source in the denitrification process has no time to delay. The research of this thesis emphasized on disposing anaerobic sludge by the ultrasound and the hydrolysis-acidgenosis process,using sludge hydrolyzate as non-traditional alternative carbon source in denitrification process. It is expected that the problem of lack of carbon source is solved through the effective use of the internal material of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Nitrogen and phosphorus in waste water will be controlled effectively.In this study, a pilot-scale comparative test is carried out in Taihu Xincheng Wastewater Treatment Plant. First of all, after ultrasound treatment, SCOD concentration in sludge supernatant and SCOD/COD have obvious increase. SCOD/COD have been increased by 52.6 percent.However,there is no significant change in VFA.With the increace of sound energy density and actuation duration, SCOD concentration in sludge supernatant have obvious increase.Then, SCOD/COD may stabilize about 20 percent at Mesophilic Hydrolysis by Ultrasonic Pretreatment, SCOD/COD may stabilize about 12 percent at room tempreture Hydrolysis by Ultrasonic Pretreatment,SCOD/COD may stabilize about 10 percent at only Mesophilic Hydrolysis. Therefore after the ultrasonic pretreatment's, sludge hydrolisis effect is better. At the same time, other factors on the ultrasonic hydrolysis effect were also studied.Finally, hydrolysis and acidgennesis of sludge to a carbon source which was used as in nitrogen removal process to discuss the effect of denitrification and compare it with the effect of denitrification with sodium acetate.The experiment results showed the denitrification rate can reach 27.75 mg NO3 - -N / (g MLVSS ? h)when sludge hydrolyzate were used as a carbon source, it explains that the hydrolyzate as a carbon source is highly efficient. At the same time, the papers carry out an Economic Analysis about ultrasonic sludge hydrolyzate as a carbon source for denitrificationThe research of this thesis put forward a new technology that use hydrolysis sludge supernatant as denitrification carbon source through pre-treatment with ultrasound technology. The new technology has great significance,solving the problem of inadequate carbon sources in nitrogen and phosphorus removal process.
