| With the rapid development of industry and enhancement of people's living standards,people'environmental consciouceness and healthy consciouceness enhance further,so the antibacterial fabrics receive more and more comsumer's affection.wool fabrics are very popular because of their unque exterior style and excellent keep-warm function,.wool fabrics'antibacterial performance is mainly gained through antibacterial finishing and the antibacterial agents include mainly nano-material Ag series inorganic antibacterial agent,Quaternary Ammonium Cationic series organic antibacterial agent and chitosan.safety,green and durability are the development tendency of the antibacterial fabrics.Lysozyme, an excellent natural antibacterial agent,spreads considerablely over animals,plants and microorganisms. Lysozyme now applys widely in food,madicine,bioengineering,cosmetics and so on for its excellent antibacterial property,safety and thermal stability,but it is still in the start-up periods in textiles.Sol-gel encapsulation method is fit for enzyme,microorganism,antibiotic,animal and plant live cell and can keep their primitive configuration for its mild condition.this article adopt sol-gel method to immobilize lysozyme on wool fabrics to endow with antibacterial performce. tetramethoxysilane(TMOS),γ-Glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane(GPTMS),propyltrimethoxysilane(PTMS) and tetramethoxysilane(TMOS) have been selected as precursors to produce sol,then wool fabrics were coated with sol-lysozyme through double-dip-double-nip. The process of immobilization was studied and the optimum parameters such as component of sol,free enzyme concentration and additive were controlled by using a criteria which how many active units of immobilized enzyme per unit area have.finally,wool fabrics'antibacterial property and washability of antibacterial effect were mensurated.The following have been obtained through lots of experiments:the optimum immobilized parameters were determined by using the sol hydrolyzed by TMOS:water/silane molar ratio=80, glucose 8mg/mL, ysozyme 12mg/mL;the optimum immobilized parameters were determined by using the sol hydrolyzed by GPTMS:water/silane molar ratio=80,additive 10%, ysozyme 15mg/mL.;the optimum immobilized parameters were determined by using the sol hydrolyzed by PTMS and TMOS: propyltrimethoxysilane(PTMS)/tetramethoxysilane(TMOS) molar ratio =4:1,water/silane molar ratio=32,lysozyme 25mg/mL, and PVA 0588 2mg/mL;the antibacterial wool fabrics have been mensurated and the conclusions are as follow:the microorganic resistant rate of the wool fabrics treated with TMOS sol,GPTMS sol were independently 65.54% and 70.78%,and that of the wool fabrics treated with PTMS+TMOS sol reached 90.32%;the washability of antibacterial effect of the antibacterial fabrics have also been mensurated and the conclusions are as follow:aftar 5 times washing,the microorganic resistant rate of the wool fabrics treated with TMOS sol,GPTMS sol and PTMS+TMOS sol keeped independently 37.84%,52.63%,75.67%. |
