This paper take the 1111(3) of the longwall for large inclined angle Fully- Mechanized face of the PanBei Coal Mine of HuaiNan mining industry group as the project background. Through the theoretical analysis, the computer value simulation and the scene actual research technique and so on, studied the steeply dipping seam mining of ground pressure feature and surrounding rock control technology. Utilizes the correlation theories knowledge, has studied the break mechanism of the roof rock layer in the great inclined angle coal seam mining; Through the value simulation, research has compared the different inclination angle coal seam characteristics of coal wall anterior and the goaf tendency of the biggest stress concentration factor, abutment pressure of plastic area, roof weighting step, convergence between roof and floor in working face. Through field measurement, studied the great inclined angle coal seam working surface incline direction to press the appearance the succession. When we obtained the steeply dipping seam mining of characteristics of ground pressure feature, then proposed the working face support stability, the work equipment prevent tumble and glide, and control technology of strata control around longwall face in the period of pressure.
