Aiming at solving the low-efficiency and pollution problem of traditional steel tube outer surface anti-rust process, a new type of equipment using UV-Coating varnish was developed. Computer control technology, field bus technology, proportional valve technology and pressure regulating valve technology were utilized. This research was divided into six chapters.In chapter one, the development of steel tube anti-rust varnish was investigated, the steel tube anti-rust process was described. The significant of developing a new type of steel tube anti-rust equipment using UV-Coating varnish was demonstrated.In chapter two, according to the requirement of steel tube anti-rust process, the entire structure and working process of this UV-Coating anti-rust painting equipment was introduced. Then the mechanical structure, electrical control process and software interface were demonstrated in detail.In chapter three, four and five, aiming at control the paint film thickness under different steel tube velocity and outer diameter, a electrical-gas-liquid open loop flow control painting system for UV-Coasting anti-rust paint was designed. In chapter three the framework of the flow control system and its core technology was demonstrated, the significant of CFD and the numerical simulation process of FLUENT was introduced. In chapter four a method of simulating the flow characteristic by FLUENT combined with experiment of a self-developed gas-liquid pressure regulating valve was introduced. In chapter five the optimizing process of an air-blasted atomizer using FLUENT was discussed.In chapter six the existing work was summarized and the future work was expected.
