With the development of sinter ore cooling technology,cooling equipment of sinter ore becomes perfect gradually.Annular cooler is applied to steel enterprises, thus the cooling of annular cooler have been one of new bottlenecks of sinter ore output. So it is a significant work to do the study of annular cooler system optimization.In this paper, because cooler is serious, the sealing structure of annular cooler has been improved, optimized and analyzed in order to solve the problem of air leakage of domestic annular.In this paper, primary contents of study include: The magnetic fluid sealing technology was used in sealing ring type cooling machine and the equipment of magnetic fluid seal was designed also. Study the magnetic fluid sealing mechanism, analyze the suffered magnetic force of magnetic fluid sealing medium in a magnetic field. Deduce the withstand Pressure Formula of magnetic fluid static seal. Combination of, the establishment of a simplified three-dimensional solid model was estabished according to annular cooler structure. Using ANSYS software to analyze the sealing part of annular cooler with a view to get magnetic field distribution of sealing gap. Through the analysis of magnetic fluid seal structure, rectangular pole seal structure parameters was deduced. On this basis, a simple experimental magnetic fluid seal device was designed in order to study the influence of field strengh,seal gap and sealing medium on the magnetic fluid sealing capacity of pressure.Theoretical analysis and experimental results show: the magnetic fluid seal is an effective and feasible method of achieve annular cooler seal. The magnetic fluid sealing structure will cause large change on the sealing pressure ability. Rational design of sealing structure can effectively increase the capability of sealing pressure. These results provide a basis for actually take corresponding process measures. A reasonable ways and means of improving sinter quality can be found in the cooling process of sinter cooler also.
