With the developing of information technology,the printing of Digital Transition expand at a high speed.This paper is based on digital offset that is a new kind of printing,work over the printability of FM in electrostatic printing,come to approach this thing: Relativing to AM,FM ,the kind of printing is obvious advantage as well as obvious shortages,we will search its passible direction.Research methods of this paper include:(1) theoretical analysis:there is some explains for several critical technologys which can influence FM's developing,and introduce digital offset printing technology in this paper, in order to make clear specific application context of FM. Theoretically, screen ruling of FM cannot overtop,we will forecast and evaluate appropriate screen ruling by means of theoretical arithmetic.(2)experimental research:printing with different screen ruling and different tonal,and measuring printing specimen we print just now and then find 30 qualified observers for observing pictures.(3)data Processing and Analysis:measuring,calculating and contrasting level reflectivity, vertical reflectivity, average reflectivity including both average reflectivity of lines and between lines on print configurations with image-analysis.Complete the following tasks mostly (1) Firstly debug screening mechanism, adopt the kind of screening which is polished by the error diffusion algorithm. (2) images with a number of different screening FM network and the output, producing specimens, one for each image to compare the different tonal areas measured. (3) According to the principle of FM screening measurement data analysis and validation called observers.The main conclusions: (1) FM network is not higher the better the printed results, but up to a certain post-screening lines instead of its print quality began to decline. Each printing has such a peak, while the number of offset of the peak relative offset speaking, a relatively low, but also relative to the human eye's visual requirements, its quality there is a certain gap. (2) Making an image with a different tonal regions of reflectivity measurements, found that FM screening in the digital offset printing in the middle of the transfer processing capability is weak. However, if the net number of lines is more appropriate, its effect is more or less compared to other tone. (3) Digital presses print quality needs to be improved, the key is how to increase the output resolution digital printing.
