The solidification and deformation of continuous cast slab under the production has direct relation with its quality. So it is important to research the solidification and deformation, find out the influence rules of process parameters on the slab shell growth and distribution of temperature, stress and strain in the slab for stabling reasonable process parameters. On the basis of the previous research, production, heat transfer theory and elastic-plasticity theory, the solidification heat transfer mathematical model and the thermo-mechanical coupling model are given. The bulging deformation of the process of the solidification is analyzed on the basis of the analysis software.During the temperature and solidification analysis of the slab, FCA method is adopted, which can practically considers the variation of heat transfer in the secondary cooling zoom, and a solidification model which is partial and easy to using is established. With the model, the influence of processing parameters on the surface temperature and shell growth of the slab is analyzed and puts forward measures to reduce the slab surface temperature, decrease surface stress improving slab quality.Adjusting an elastic-plasticity material model, the influence of processing parameters on the stress distribution in mould is investigated. It is indicated that the stress at the slab corner is greater than in the center, the greater the slab speed, the smaller the stress.A two-dimension and three-dimension bulge deformation analysis models are given, the bulge deformation and stress, strain distribution of slab are compared, and the results of two models are compared. It is shown that the two-dimension model can not reflect the deformation rules in the direction perpendiculars to the moving direction. The research of the article has some significance on the production practice of the continuous casting process.
