2,2-bis(4-allyloxy-3,5-dinitrophenyl)propane is an excellent additional flame-retardant intermediate, can be used to the synthesis of flame-retardant which is widely used in thermoplastic, ABS, plastic and thermosetting resins, and so on.Intermediate 2,2-bis(4-hydroxy-3,5-dinitrophenyl)propane and object product 2,2-bis(4-allyloxy-3,5-dinitrophenyl)propane was synthesized separately using 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane, nitric acid and 3-Chloro-l-propene as raw materials. Many factors which effect the reaction, such as reaction temperature and reaction time, ratio of batching have been studied. Moreover, through the orthogonal experiment and data processing, the optimal process conditions were confirmed. The products were confirmed and made a pure analysis by IR,NMR,M.P,HPLC,and TG.Experiments showed:Intermediate product 2,2-bis(4-hydroxy-3,5-dinitrophenyl)propane could be synthesized under the mass ratio of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane to nitric acid was 1:9.85, and through the reaction at the temperature 0℃1.5h,30℃2h,50℃2h. The object product 2,2-bis(4-allyloxy-3,5-dinitrophenyl)propane was synthesized under the reaction temperature was about 55℃, the reaction time was about 12h, the mass ratio of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxy-3,5-dinitrophenyl)propane to 3-Chloro-l-propene was 1:2.92, and the temperature of system when 3-Chloro-1-propene was being added was 30℃.
