There are a lot of iron and steel enterprises in Hebei Province,and crude steel, pig iron, steel output rank first in the country, while these cause serious pollution.The progress of flue gas desulfurization is slow,and emissions of pollutants from iron and steel enterprises go up every year.Iron and steel enterprises in the manufacturing process produces a large number of steel slag,whose utilization is low, piling up a lot on arable land. This paper studies the characteristics of Hebei Province, sintering flue gas,research some of the existing sintering machine operation of flue gas desulpHurization equipment, analysis of desulfurization operation problems, combined with sintering flue gas, raised the best application of technology in Hebei Province,sintering flue gas.By carriying out on the steel slag as an absorbent desulfurization performance,Steel slag can be used for less demanding sintering flue gas desulphurization efficiency desulpHurization.It explored a new way on "Control waste by waste".The concentration of sintering flue gas sulfur dioxide changes big in Hebei Province, range 200-3524mg/m3. The survey in 39 companies shows that, two companies'highest sulfur dioxide emission concentration is higher than 3000mg/m3, the highest concentration of enterprises emissions is Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes, emission concentration of 3524 mg/m3.Six enterprises'maximum emission concentration is in the rank of 2000-2500mg/m3,1000-2000mg/m3 of 12 enterprises; other companies'maximum emission of sulfur dioxide concentrations is below 1000mg/m3.When select the technology of desulfurization to Iron and steel enterprises,desulfurization efficiency,area,desulfurization by-product disposal, running costs, project investment and sources of desulfurization agent,desulfurization facilities, stability are key factors to be considered.At present many devices of sintering flue gas desulfurization in Hebei Province,but fewer instances of running a stable,ammonia- ammonium sulfate method and semi-dry desulfurization technology are relatively mature. There are still many problems in desulfurization operation: not enough field fot the construction of desulfurization;desulfurization by-product disposal problems; wet process chimney without making anti-corrosion;operating costs.Selection of desulphurization technology for sintering flue gas should obey the following principles in Hebei Province:At first,choose a safe and stable operation of the desulfurization technology;select the adequate desulfurization efficiency;choose technology with less invest and operation cost; "Control waste by waste" and by-products can be resource processes.1) For a new sintering machine, technology with higher desulfurization efficiency should be best choose.2) active sintering machine with low concentrations of sulfur dioxide emissions from companies, choose the efficiency of 50% or more of the desulfurization technology. Companies with high concentrations of sulfur dioxide emissions may make use of a high efficiency of desulfurization technologies; small field desulfurization technology; Enterprises with low concentrations of sulfur dioxide emissions can have selective desulfurization technology.The average CaO content of slag is 50.24%, MgO average content of 5.8%. In the bubbling jet column reactor, examination uses steel slag instead of limestone as a desulfurization agentwith wet desulfurization process. The pressure drop and sorbent pH value are key factors affecting the efficiency of desulfurization. Control of slag slurry pH 6 ~ 8, pressure drop for the 900 ~ 1800Pa, the desulfurization efficiency can be maintained at 70-87%.Desulfurization efficiency can go up to 77% at about 1500 Pa pressure drop and pH value 6.5 in the Jet bubbling reactor.
