Separation process using membranes has been considered as one of the most potential processes because of low energy consumption, high efficiency, small volume and less occupation of land area, simple manipulation, none pollution, easy to integrate with other technique. Nowadays, more and more attentions have been paid on separation process of olefins and paraffins by using gas separation membranes'technique. PPESK showed both excellent comprehensive performances and high heat-resistances (Tg263~305℃), better than other dissoluble engineering plastics. By using PPESK as membrane material, the asymmetric hollow-fiber membranes were formed through dry/wet spinning.Hollow fiber supported liquid membrane was prepared by loading Ag ion that comes from AgNO3 solution.First, structure and performance of the PPESK hollow fiber membranes prepared based on the phase separation behavior has been systemically researched. The influences of thermodynamics and dynamic factors to the performance of membranes were studied. Such as concentrations of polymer, molecular weight of polymer, contiguity factors of casting, temperature of casting solution, temperature of coagulant media, air gap of the dry/wet spinning process. The structure research and character analysis are made with SEM, gas permeability and separation coefficient. Summary from research, the preparation technology of membranes for olefins and paraffins separation is got.Second, Hollow fiber supported liquid membrane was prepared by loading Ag ion that come from AgNO3 solution as membrane liquid. The influences of concentration of Ag+, Soaking Time, Structure of base-membrane, operational pressure and temperature were systemically studied using the SEM, gas permeability and separation coefficient. The results of experiment showed, the PPESK supported liquid membrane got the best separation performance when concentration of Ag+was 0.05g/ml, Soaking Time was 168h, concentrations of polymer was 24%, approaching ratio was 0.2, temperature of casting solution was 35℃, temperature of coagulant media was 12℃, operational pressure was 100 kPa and operational temperature was 25℃and separation coefficient reached 21.32.
