Coal industry is a pillar industry in China. Coal mine production safety is the soul of the field, and underground water inflow is an important factor affecting the safety of production. Once water leakage in mining face not only affect the amount of coal, and even submerge mines, endangering the lives of miners. As the main underground water storage and the mining area sump charged with the task of the mine water excluded, the performance of its direct impact on pump capacity and mine safety. Currently, some mines are still using the traditional manual drainage system, which is a low degree of automation, poor response, there is a big security risk. While some state-owned mines have achieved the automation of transformation of the central pump house, but face mining area produced flooding accident, but to show the shortcomings of the lag. As Chinese coal industry development, improving the main mine drainage control system has become a trend.This issue points out the shortcomings of the existing drainage system, and further study for coal mine monitoring system which is used in the main drainage in China. The core technology of it is the pump control device. The device is designed with Siemens S7-300 series PLC which applied for the central process unit, and extend modules contain the necessary digital input and output modules, analog module and communication module. This device is arranged with four modes: local control automatically, local control manually, remote automatic and remote manual control mode, you can freely switch. In automatically state, the start of the pump automatically is determined by the water level, which is measured real-time. To uniform wear and to prevent pump long-term rust do not die because of damp, water pump rotation design work mechanism, each time starts pump, always open the pump to run the least time.Meanwhile, the system uses embedded and multi-interface technology, designs and implements a reliable display and the programmable controller communication, touch screen support for the operation of the wireless mouse and keyboard functions. Harsh environment in the mine, the operators only need to pump house sump pump the actual situation and the operating parameters, timely modify the display parameters, you can complete the whole system of control to facilitate the commissioning and maintenance of equipment, reducing work underground time.As the system operating environment is I kind of explosive substance (mine methane) exist occasions, so devices must have electrical isolation. The system is designed to protect the circuit isolation: Optocoupler isolation plate and the safety barrier, and select high-performance separation devices to ensure that the system in an explosive environment of mutual isolation of various electrical equipment, to achieve safe and reliable operation of the system. This study is the main drainage system has the following features: real-time online monitoring of water level and display; pump automatically starts and stops; support the use of wireless mouse and keyboard, on-site debugging; water pump on a shift system, to pump a balanced work and improve pump life ; design a more Perfect protection, such as water protection, high temperature protection and over current protection, etc.; the system can mine ground monitoring center networking, easy centralized control.During research the subject period, a representative group of Zhangcun Luan Coal Mine Central pump house site is investigated and designed by corporation with Keda Automation Engineering Ltd in Shanxi.
