Because of its unique superior, the progressing cavity pump has been paid much more attentions to in oil fields at home and abroad. But now, the basic theory and oil extraction technology of progressing cavity pump isn't abundant and perfect, especially in basal academic research. So the superior of progressing cavity pump oil extraction hasn't been adequately done. The using life of progressing cavity pump has always been an important problem to resolve in oil field. For this reason, the writer has abundantly analyzed the mechanics property of rotor and stator of progressing cavity pump. And the abrasion law of screw-lining has been researched.Normal hypocycloid single-lobe progressing cavity pump has been defined to studying object. According to the structural parameters of GLB120-27, the three-dimensional solid model of one lead has been established by SolidWorks. And then, the model has been lead-into ANSYS. The SOLID45 and the SOLID185 have been chosen by rotor in ANSYS. The object element is TARGE170. The contact element is CONTA174. The constitutive relations of stator rubber lining is Mooney—Rivlin model. The cylinder sleeve function has been imitated by the uniaxial tension test which exerted fixed restriction using two constants on the stator outer surfaces and symmetrical restriction on the stator ends; According to hydraulic characteristic testing data of progressing cavity pump, the finite element analysis model has been obtained at last by imitating working conditions to load. The distribution rule of contact pressure, shearing stress, and equivalent effective stress of the progressing cavity pump stator has been obtained by nonlinear contact finite element calculation. The theoretical foundation has been provided for simulation abrasion tests of the screw-lining.On the basis of research,which is mechanics property of screw-lining of progressing cavity pump, the working condition of progressing cavity pump was simulated to obtain the rule of abrasion between screw and lining. In order to meet the test requirements, the MPX-2000 abrasion testing machine has been changed in existing conditions, its spindle is continuously variable by the transducer, the abrasion form is Ring-disk. Abrasion test has been done respectively in the oil-water and oil-water-sand in order to research the relation of friction factor and abrasionloss and load, sliding velocity. The results indicate that,in two kinds of media,the the friction factor all has become less with the increase of load, become bigger with the increase of sliding velocity:the abrasionloss all has become bigger with the increase of load, become less with the increase of sliding velocity.According to the mechanics properties and the abrasion simulation results, the writer thinks the stator rubber abrasions f progressing cavity pump are frictional wear, abrasive wear, fatigue wear, and adhesive wear. The suggestions have been proposed to prevent and alleviate the abrasion.
