Ion exchange resins used in fuel ethanol acid hydrolysis of sugar separation process has broad application prospects, it has great importance for the commonly way in the industry use limestone to neutralizate hydrolysis,which meanly caused no sulfuric acid recycling, pollution of the environment, low ethanol production rate,and so on. this paper based on ion exclusion chromatography, did a system Experimental and Theoretical Study for the acid separation with high concentrations, hydrolysis of cellulose, provide the basic data for the adsorption kinetics with industrial resin.based on the method of ion exclusion chromatographic to seperate sugar and acid, through study on static adsorption tests, The adsorption capacity of sugar solution between five kinds of domestic industrial resin was examined, The 001×4 and syno 7 resins were chosen using static adsorption, to separate the sugar solution in the acid hydrolysis of cellulose process. Influences of temperature, pH value, adsorption time and the concentration on sugar adsorption efficiency in the hydrolysis was also be Analysed.The results indicated that the highest adsorption capacity of 001×4 resin sugar solution can reach 304.61 mg/g at pH=3.0,T=323K,the initial sugar concentration of 10%(by mass).According to the adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics of sugar solution,the adsorption kinetics equation of 001x4 on sugar solution was availabled to the second order kinetic equation, Proved that the choosed resin have good adsorption capacity.Independent designed the dynamic adsorption device for separation.According to the dynamic column experiments,001×4 resin performed stronger adsorption propercity.Its optimum adsorption conditions were determined that flux was 1.0-1.2ml/min, Feed concentration was 10%(by mass), and temperature was at 300K.the breakthrough curve of was measured.meanwhile,the experiment results show that the breakthrough curve of new column and Regeneration column are the same. Fit the resin adsorption-separation mechanism of the sugar and acid. Not only illustrates the resin has good separation ability on acid hydrolysis of cellulose, while regenerated resin also has good adsorption-desoiption properties.
