| In this study, five Acacia species woods from Nanning, Guangxi were selected as the material. The models of the pulping properties and the Paper Property of Acacia were established using near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy technology to estimate Kraft pulping properties of raw materials for pulp and paper industry. The main results of this dissertation were as follows:(1)NIR spectra were first obtained from Kraft Acacia wood pulp samples. Combined with Partial least squares (PLS), two models, the pulp Kappa Number and the pulping yield analysis were established, respectively. The results showed that the correlation coefficients(R) of calibration Model was 0.926,0.8923, and the root mean square errors of cross-validation(RMSECV)was 0.978 and 0.568, respectively, Which was regarded as a rapid method for predicting the pulp Kappa Number and the pulping yield.(2)NIR has been used to rapidly predict paper basis weight, brightness, tensile index, tearing index and bursting index with paper samples. The results showed that relationship between the paper property fitted by NIR and GB methods was strong linear, and the correlation coefficients of calibration Model was above 0.89,preditiction Model was above 0.82, RMSECV and RMSEP were very small.(3)NIR and PLS were used to calibrate models of the kappa number, pulping yield, tensile index, tearing index and bursting index of Acacia with wood particle(40-60 mesh). The results showed that the R was above 0.8. And NIR in wood particle did not exact enough and would use for rough predicting only the pulping properties. |
