In this dissertation, three kinds of aminosilicone oil with different end-group were synthesized using hexamethyldisiloxane (MM), dimethyldimethoxysiloxane and 3-aminopropylmethyldiethoxysiloxane as capping reagents respectively via catalysis-condensation reaction. These three different aminosilicone oils were emulsified and applied on fabric finishing. The stability of emulsion from aminosilicone oil end-capped by 3-aminopropylmethyldiethoxysiloxane was excellent, with the average size of latex particles 67nm. After finishing with this aminosilicone oil emulsion, the cotton fabric afforded good softness performance with the stiffness decreased 23.52% even after washing 10 times.Treatment stearic acid with the mixture of N-chlorosuccinimide, triphenylphosphine and sodium azide via Staudinger reaction, and followed by Curtius rearrangement to obtain heptadecane isocyanate. The structure was characterized by FT-IR,1HNMR and MS. Using this high reactive isocyanate as modification reagent, long-chain alkyl was introduce into the side-chain of aminopropyl silicone oil successfully. By controlling the molar ratio of isocyanate and aminosilicone oil, different modified aminosilicone oils were obtained with the mol ratio of long-chain alkyl can be adjusted. The emulsion from modified silicone oil was found to be more stable than the one from untreated silicone oil. The average size of latex particles of the modified aminosilicone oil emulsion was measured to be 107 nm. Textile finishing application showed that the modified silicone oil afforded better laundry endurance, with stiffness change only 3.45% after ten launderings.A kind of novel fluoroalkyl modified aminosilicone oil, with the fluoroalkyl at side chain, was prepared via addition reaction between hexafluorobutyl methacrylate and amino-silicone. The fluorine-containing amino silicone oil was emulsified and applied to fabric finishing. The result showed that fluorine-containing aminosilicone oil can afford with anti-yellowing and water-repellency to the finished fabric, and which can also improve handle significantly. Four kinds of fluorine-containing amino silicone oil with different fluoride content were applied on cotton finishing. The result demonstrated that the modified aminosilicone oil with the fluoride content of 25% can afford the treated fabrics with handle of up to level 4 and water-repellency score 70.
