| The design and construction of high-nuclear compounds have been the focus of recent research interest due to their potential applications in catalysis, magnetism and photochemistry eta. In this paper, we have synthesised and designed polynuclear transition-metal compound based on polyoxometalates as the inorganic ligands. We have detailedly described the structure of the compound, in addition exploring the relation between the topology and the properties of the copound in this paper. We have done a serios of experimental characterization, for example: Elemental analyses,IR,TG,electrochemistry, magnetism,EPR,NMR.In the water solution conditions, we synthesised a new TM polynuclear {Ni12} cluster by exploring the experimental conditions, namely [Ni12(OH)9WO4(W7O26(OH))(PW9O34)3]25-.The compound has been assembled in aqueous solution containing [PW9O34]9-, WO42- and NiCl2·6H2O. The Ni12 core in 1 shows a unique three-petal flower-shaped structure composed of three Ni4 cubane units. Magnetic investigation indicates the presence of dominantly ferromagnetic interactions within the Ni12 core. Up to now the polynuclear 3d TM cluster with both heteropolyoxometalate and isopolyoxometalate ligands has never been reported. |
