Absence of water resource is one of the most prominent problems on continuable denelopment of social economy in twenty-first century. So how to resolve the problem has been the most important research for us. The electric power industry is underpinning one that civil economy development. In the power plant 60%-80% of water is been using cooling water systems. The recycled water has been one of important cooling water source in the power plant because of its steady source. How to take effective measures to use the secondary effluent from wastewater plant is the important problem in the paper.According to the secondary effluent quality characteristics from wastewater plant, that is: low consistency organics and high consistency ammonia nitrogen. By way of properly improved technologies, and brought forward some appropriate that water quality characteristics, come to the best conclusion by multiple comparering about three technologies on eliminating principles and economical efficiency.Method 1:Biological contact oxidation+ Coagulation+ microfiltration, the process for low concentrations of organic wastewater treatment, and can achieve good removal efficiency, have some denitrification, effluent quality is better. The various indicators COD, BOD5, SS removal rate was 74.4%,85.6%,90%, and for the removal rate is not high.Method 2:A/O combined with contact oxidation+ D-type filter, the process of biological contact oxidation process with the A/O combination is ideal for low-carbon, high ammonia wastewater treatment, the removal of the target COD, BOD5, ammonia, SS removal rate was 70%,90%,83%,95%. Water effect, and low energy consumption, the process is simple, small footprint, in line with the actual situation of the project.Method 3:MBR process, the reaction pool of high concentration of MLSS for the removal of organic matter has high efficiency, the removal of the target COD, BOD5, ammonia, SS removal rate was 70%,80%,70%,90%. This process covers the minimum, but the cost is too high, running costs are high maintenance. And the MBR technology for large-scale recycling plant in the instance of the less specific feasibility still needs further corroboration.The three options in the removal mechanism, remove the effect of the economy and comprehensive comparison, to determine the program two modified A/O+D-filter as the best technology.
