In this paper five kinds of MVS yarns were made with 16.7 tex viscose fiber of different fiber length,32mm,34mm,36mm,38mm,40mm under the same spinning process. The quality of the yarns were tested. The testing results were analyzed in SPSS software by using One-Way ANOVA method. The conclusion is that the fiber length actually made a remarkable impact on the quality of MVS yarns, such as the rupturing intensity and elongate ratio.Five parts were included in this paper. In the first part, the development and classification of the new spinning technique, the current progress of MVS, significance and research content of this thesis were summarized. The second part was mainly about the contrastive research of MVS and traditional ring spinning in the terms of spinning flow, mechanism, models of yarn and performance of yarns. In the third part, the effect that the length of fibre made on the performance of yarns was analyzed in SPSS software by using One-Way ANOVA method. The production of four kinds of multi-fibre MVS yarns, Coolplus/Bamboo fibre/Shengma/Modal (35/30/20/15), Soybean fibre/Bamboo fibre/Modal/Bettera (35/30/20/15), Viloft/Milk fibre/Cotton/Lyocell (35/25/20/20), Shengma/Chitin fibre/Lyocell/Corn fibre(40/25/20/15)were introduced in the forth part. And the comparation of these four kinds of multi-fibres MVS yarn and ring yarn of the same component were made.The MVS spinning technology has the advantage of shorter spinning process, fewer manpower requirement, lower electric power expenditure and higher spinning speed. The lognitudinal structure of MVS yarns is similar to ring yarns. The rupturing intensity and elongate ratio of MVS yarns are not as good as ring yarns. The hairness amount of MVS yarns is markedly fewer than that of ring yarns, especially the amount of hairness of 3mm. The anti-abrading capablity of MVS yarns is much better than that of ring yarns. MVS yarn did worse in yarn's quality with more thickness, thinness and neps.
