With the rapidly development of modern industry, the water resource was destroyed more and more seriously, which is human's subsistence, so the process control of wastewater treatment has been the focus of study in recent years.In the paper, on the basis of thorough analyzing past achievements, the author studied the neural network control methods and simulation techniques apply in wastewater treatment. The main content of this paper is as follows:1. On the basis of understanding the actuality of wastewater process and technique, the paper analyzed the main indicators of affect the efficiency of activated sludge treatment, and compares the advantages and disadvantages of each process, point out the best conditions for the application of various processes.2. The paper detailed analysis of two common neural network models-Back Propagation (BP) neural network and Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network and analysis their own algorithm. Compared the advantages and siadvantages of two kinds of neural networks in wastewater treatment, and determine the most appropriate to this subject of neural network..3. Based on a wastewater treatment plant in Guangzhou, the paper proposed BP model and parameters design with DO1,DO2,SS,OPR as the inputs and FT as the output, and simulation with MATLAB. Verify the effectiveness of the model and parameters.4. The paper used Visual Basic software platform developed artificial neural network software based wastewater treatment. The wastewater treatment plant test run show that the software has a certain credibility.The paper studied the process of wastewater treatment of artificial neural network software has somewhat referential significance. But owing to the limit of condition and time, there are many sides need to be ameliorated and discussed.
