To solve the current situation of heavy task and low designing efficiency in medium manufacturing enterprises, a intelligent and serial design system of the four-column hydraulic press was proposed facing four-column hydraulic press products . The fixed body of four-column hydraulic press was analyzed, meanwhile the key parametric design was realized for the component of four-column hydraulic press. The structural characteristics size parametric library of four-column hydraulic press was established. Using the modular ideas to design the components of the system automaticly, the system has good man-machine interface. The main function of intelligent design system is to automatically generate three-dimensional and two-dimensional product drawings, and calculate the strength and stiffness of key components by inputing the key parameters into the software system.The system studied in this dissertation can enhance design efficiency, reduce design cycles and costs. It can serve as four-column hydraulic machine orders, design, production, and many other links, which can effectively promote the levels of hydraulic overall design.
