Research On Dimension And Layout Of Kitchen Furniture Design

As the componential part of the kitchen system, kitchen furniture provides the users with the functions of storage and platform. Combining with the development of kitchen furniture, this paper researches (through the analysis of ergonomics and systematical methods) on the two fundamental aspects of furniture design-dimension and layout.As to my paper, it mainly caters to the kitchen furniture. I refer to the traditional research method and theory and make a systematic research on dimension and layout, blending the systematic design theory. This paper researches (by the analysis of diet habits, kitchen furniture system's functions, fundamental appliances, and space isolation) on the kitchen furniture's dimension and layout through researching on human manipulating procedures, ergonomics statistics, human behavior habits, kitchen illumination, and ventilation. The paper can offer kitchen designers, college teachers and students, and those who are caring about the development of kitchen and kitchen furniture some references.
