| Based on the domestic and overseas research results, the regional environmental carrying capacity was incubrated. Firstly, the formation and evolution of concept of carrying capacity was described, then the study status of the carrying capacity was analyzed and the problem existing in it was raised up. Secondly, the concept of regional environmental carrying capacity was brought up and its content, characteristics and the main fact was expounded. Thirdly, a more practical suit with a universal significance of regional environmental carrying capacity evaluation index system, regional environmental carrying capacity evaluation model and regional environmental load factor distinguishing method were established. Fourthly, the theory was used in empirical study of the chemical industrial area in Anqing. Based on the the results and long-term accumulation of wealth monitoring data, through perspectives and multi-level system analysis on environment, economy and society of Anqing, especially based on the status monitoring to pollution sources and primary pollution factors, the environmental quality of Anqing chemical industrial zone was assessed. The environmental capacity of atmosphere and surface water of Anqing chemical industrial area were calculated by two different models. On the basis of analysis of carrying capacity in the oil, coal, water resources, the environmental carrying condition of this area was calculated and analyzed by using the measurement model and the support ability got to be clear. Finally, starting from the regional environmental carrying capacity assessment, through analyse of the facts restricting on environmental protection, sustainable use of resources and regional sustainable development, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were raised up which is focus on solving the problem of environmental security in Anqing chemical industrial area and aiming at improving regional environmental carrying capacity as the goals. |
