| Nowadays, with the development of information technologies, flat panel display has become a dependent popular area. Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) now is considered as the most promising FPD due to their high luminance, wide angle display, easy to realize large area flat panel display. The organic electroluminious materials, which have not only prompted the progress of this field, but also exhibited great potential in polar cell, FET and biosensors areas.Among OEL materials, polymer OEL materials now have gained more attention because of their good optoelectronic and their inherent polymer properties. In this work, we have designed and synthesized two novel anthracene-based conjugated polymers (2, 6-PAV and HSM-PAV) with Diels-Alder, Suzuki and Gilch reactions. Anthracene, as the efficient blue-emitting unit, can realize white light emitting when introduced into EL polymers as side chain, and can also improve the polymer luminous efficiency as a co-polymer unit.Polymer 2, 6-PAV showed big molecular weight(1.9×10~4) with polydispersity of 3.1 , the EL properties are similar to each other between in solution and films. With the increase number of flexible side alkyloxy chains(HSM-PAV) not only gives rise to high stability against photooxidation but also improves the solubility and molecular weigh(t3.2×10~4). The simple OLED of two polymers are also studied, their maximal brightness and the maximal luminous efficiency of the devices are 340cd/m~2 (2, 6-PAV, 0.17cd/A) and 590cd/m~2(HSM-PAV, 0.27cd/A). |
