The study of aerobic granular sludge was based on anaerobic granular sludge. Granular sludge is the biotechnology self-immobilized, which has strong and compact microbial structure, improved stability and higher biomass retention, and ability to withstand shock loadings, ability to remove nitrogen and phosphates simultaneous. In resent years researchers have given more interests in the development of aerobic granular sludge.Enhancement technique of aerobic granular was studied in sequencing batch airlift reactor (SBAR) in this thesis. The best quantity and methods of addition flocculant bacteria have been researched; the influence of store condition has been investigated; and researched the dynamics equation of aerobic granular sludge which planted with flocculant bacterium.The results showed that flocculant bacterium could prompt granulation process, the best quantity was 10ml/L, and SVI was around 40ml/g, settling velocity reached 35.82m/h, the removal rate of COD, NH4+-N, TP of mature granular sludge was 97.14%,84.49%,87.59% respectively. Based on that research the methods of adds flocculant bacterium, the result was once 5 d. In this case the aerobic granules could be successfully cultivated, and SVI was around 40ml/g, settling velocity reached 37.32m/h, the removal rate of COD, NH4+-N, TP of mature granular sludge was 96.55%,93.29%,87.29% respectively.Research the biodegradation effect and ability of the aerobic granules which were stored in or out of trophic substance, the results showed that add trophic substance was not necessary. Based on the Monod equation, the kinetic coefficients of tow kinds of aerobic granules were as follows: Ks-add=107.26 mg/L, Vmax-add=0.144 h-1; Ks-un=82.198 mg/L,Vmax-un=0.135h-1. Dynamics equations:Vadd=0.144SCOD/(107.26+SCOD);Vun=0.135SCOD/(82.198+SCOD). It was showed that aerobic granules which added flocculant bacterium had higher organic compound removal efficiency.
