Study Of Large Oil Storage Tank Offshore Platform Design

Oil storage tank is important structure of offshore platform. The oil tank is carry load with platform structure. The environmental load, Function load, thermal stress, sloshing load are very important for the platform design. In the LD32-2 PSP platform, there are 13000 m3 oil tank on the platform, which is biggest storage fix-platform in China.This paper describe the engineering design method for oil tank of LD32-2 PSP platform, point to the project's difficulty and characteristic, and provide the solution for such a platform. It has been proved to safety by using global analysis, manual calculation, FEM analysis.As a new style platform, The LD32-2 PSP platform gives a good develop method in China offshore oil.
