In recent years, the eutrophication are more and more concerned in our country and abroad, especially the eutrophication in channel reservoir become more and more serious.Xiao jiang valley as the tributary belonged to Three Gorges which as the channel reservoir also occurred a serious eutrophication phenomenon.For this reason,the water in Jialing river was as medium in this study, study the impact of velocity to the growth of algae, further study the mechanism and conditions of the eutrophication, in order to provide the basic data and scientific evidence for the prediction of the eutrophication in channel reservoir, it is important to the water environment protect and dispatch reference for the channel reservoir.Through the simulate experiment, study the impact of velocity to the growth of algae,definite the appropriate velocity range for algal growth .and study the affect of the best velocity for the growth of algae on different temperature and different light conditions. Through research we obtained: When the water temperature was 25℃, 28℃, and under the conditions of 31℃. The suitable velocity for the growth of algae were: 0.05m/s or so, 0.15m/s or so, and 0.10m/s the best around.In the study of the Jialing river estuary region which as tributary of the example channel reservoir, Further verify the best suitable conditions for algal growth in simulation experiment, Further verify the combined effect for algal growth on the conditions of the light, temperature and velocity.
