The efficient extractant for Cu has been used inChina since 1960, which is different from the traditional way that is produced by the hydrometallurgy for the high amount of products. And ,the extractant is more used for the low grade copper ore with much more impurities,in Southwest and Northeast of country,such as Yunnan Province.The lower cost ,convenience made the extractant more popular.Because of the complicated technological process, vast investment, long-time construction period,the high energy consumption and high cost,As soon as the heapleaching-extraction-electrowinning appears ,it attract the attentions from all over the world..Such famous porphyry copper deposit and sandstone-type copper deposit as we known ,from the west of Canada and America to the Peru and Chile in South America,the factories becomes popular. In Cuba ,Ainu,Brazil,Panama,the heapleaching-extraction-electrowinning developed rapidly With the protection for the environment and high-range copper ore reduction ,the efficient extractant becomes more useful and pinup.It will satisfied for the society's intensive need ,and it is pollution-free.The need for efficient extractant made us to research the synthesis of efficient extractant.Lix841,as an efficient extractant for Cu2+ , is 2-hydroxy-5-nonylaceo phenone oxime.The intermediate P-pionyipnenyi acetate,synthesized by nonyl-phenol mixed with a-cetic anhydride,at 80?C,lasted1.5h, reaaranged into z-hydroxy-s -nonyl- acetophenone in the tetrachloroethylene at 120?C about2h.The intermediate mixed by hydroxylamine hydrochloride solution in2h,at 85?C made the final product.We testified the extractive capacity of the extractant we made .The research is based on bluestone and the the optimal extract condition is pH=2.8.The temperature is normal and the extraction time is about 60 min.And the extractive capacity is high to 92.5%,the reverse extract yield is high to 94.5% at the pH=3,at 25?C.
