The research of aerobic granular sludge mainly comes from the granulation of anaerobic sludge. Recently, the domestic and foreign scholars realized that, owing to the self-solidifying of the microbe, the sludge could be granulated under anaerobic conditions. The research based on the up-to-date achievements of training aerobic granular sludge both at home and abroad.Aerobic granular sludge has better effect on getting rid of COD, ammonia nitrogen, TN, TP from Wastewater. Through continuously running of the system for more than two months, we can come to conclusions as follows:Under the stable conditions of the system,when the concentration of effluent COD,ammonia nitrogen,TN,and TP,respectively,is 500mg/l~700mg/l,45mg/l~90mg/l, 50mg/l~100mg/l,8mg/l~11mg/l,the corresponding removal rate can achieve 90%,95%,85%,and 90% respectively.The appearance of the cultivated aerobic granular sludge is light yellow, smooth, round or elliptical-shaped small particles. The average diameter of aerobic granular sludge is 1~1.5mm, the maximum diameter can reach 2mm. Under the above mentioned condition, The MLSS of Granular sludge can reach over 7g/L, the SVI and the SV can reach about 50ml/g and 30%.the Granular sludge, which possesses a good sedimentation, has a good biomass and biological activity.On the basis of successful experiment on culvating aerobic granular sludge, the R2(aerobic granular sludge)has a better effect on the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen compare to the R1(flocculent sludge).According to the influence factors of aerobic granular sludge and the characteristics of the reactor, optimize the parameter of the DO and the HRT under the constant condition, observe the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen and organism in different condition to choose the best operating parameter.Within a processor cycle of ammonia nitrogen wastewater treatment,when the HRT was 6h and the concentration of DO is up to the highest removal rate between 2~3mg/L in the aerobic period,ammonia nitrogen wastewater reaches the highest removal rate.
