Waterborne UV-curable coatings have advantages of non-contamination, non-skin irritation, safety of production and cheap, and it become an attractive research and application areas of UV curable systems.In this Paper, the optimization photosensitive resins were chosen, same molecular weight waterborne UV-curing Polyurethane acrylate ionomers show that low molecular weight polyether PPG is more photosensitive, and three series of waterborne UV-curing hyperbranched resins were prepared from different materials. Using different molecular weight PPG, IPDI, TMPA, and DMPA or pentaerythritol as main materials, the mole ratio of TMPA and PPG was 1:4, and the mole ratio of pentaerythritol and PPG was 1:6, the content of carboxyl was 0.4 mmmol and the reaction temperature was 90 degree, some stable and good films hyperbranched waterborne PUA were gotten. Based on this, good water proof and weather resistance organic silicone modified functional hyperbranched waterborne PUA were prepared and be studied amply.First-rate photoinitiator Irgacure 184 is effective and consistent with waterborne PUA, and its best dosage is 3 to 4 weight percent. Predrying the films is better to the UV curing.Through studying the above hyperbranched PUA, it can be known that The structure of the above PUA were tested by NMR and IR spectrum, the effect of the structure of the above PUA, the best reaction conditions, hydrophilicity of the PUA resins, the content of hydrophilic groups, the dosage of catalyzer, neutralization degreeand polymerization inhibitor on the performance of PUA were studied. the type and dosage of photoinitiator, the type of neutralization agent, neutralization degree, drying condition and the structure of PUA on the UV-curing speed were discussed, and the performances of the hyperbranched PUA was tested.The emulsion dispersability and stability of the PUA resins both increase with neutralization degree, and the particles size of the PUA resins decrease with the increase of content of carboxyl. The best content of carboxyl in the PUA is 0.4 mmol, and the good performance is shown in this condition.Complex functional organic silicone modified hyperbranched waterborne PUA are better in waterproof and chemical resistance, the dosage of DB-907 mol in the isocyanate no more than 20 percent is better of its films in the water and chemical resistance than the PUA without organic silicone and fluorin, more than 20 percent DB-907 can make the stability of the PUA worse and make their films coarse.
