In this thesis, the processing technology of the soy protein isolate biodegradable materials and the mechanism of affecting factors were studied. During the process of Hot-pressing of the soy protein isolates biodegradable material, the effects of the molding temperature, pressure, time and plasticizer content on the tensile strength, elongation and water absorption of soy protein isolate plastic were studied. It is proved that each factor has some effect on the performance of the soy protein isolates biodegradable material. Through the experiment analysis, we obtains the best preparation craft condition to have the lowest water-absorptivity degradable material, molding temperature130℃, pressure12MPa, time8 min and plasticizer content:30%,and the water-absorptivity of the degradable material under these conditions is121.4%; we obtains the best preparation craft condition to have the highest tensile strength degradable material, molding temperature120℃,pressure14MPa, time10min, and plasticizer content25%,and the tensile strength of the degradable material under these conditions is 16.5MPa.The biodegradability of the degradable material from soy protein isolate was also determined, the tested result showed that the biodegradability suit to national standard. If the processibility of soy protein degradable material were solved, it would be applied far and wide. Its application included Agricultural production materials, Packaging materials, Dishware for once etc, even it will take the place of the field of Polyethylene and PVC completely.
