With the rise of our country demands for the coal, mechanized mining technology widely used in coal production, but it is followed by the rising dust density in fully-mechanized mining face, it is serious threat to safety production and workers'health. How to reduce the dust density effectively in fully-mechanized mining face, it has been one of the issues that need to be solved in the coal production.This paper analysis of the causes of dust, sports discipline and the distribution of dust in fully-mechanized coal face. The inadequacy of existing measures for dust, the effect solution is proposed of both inside and outside the shearer spray system on the basis of the current situation, along the working face among framework arrangement high-pressure automatic spray system to improve the dust.Combine the theoretical analysis is about of gas-solid two-phase flow model and field measurement of dust density in fully-mechanized coal face, it has been reached dust distribution in fully-mechanized face, the dust density under the airflow around the shearer is about less than 50m is higher, it is the focus of comprehensive management; analysis of the theoretical mechanism of spraying dust, comes the main factors is about to influence the process of fog particles and dust condensation (dust reduction), it provides a basis for design parameters matching; analysis the flow obtained the relationship between spray pressure and particle size, particle velocity fog, mist the particle electric charge; nozzle structure has a direct impact on the efficiency of dust, using MATLAB software curve the parameters and pressure to identify the best fitting relationship, it provides basis for adjust the system parameters and laboratory simulation.On the basis of the above analysis, the automatic spray system is designed on controller AT89S52-based, AT89C2051 is the follower controller. The work of the main controller is communications with the follower, control each the follower machine and showing the relevant information; the accessory controller's job is to monitor the effective optical signal, communications with the host and control the valves opening and closing. The host connected the accessory controller through the RS485 bus, the whole process of spray dust without human intervention, it achieved the application of automation in the coal mine.
