The Research On The Wetland Resources Appraisal Research In The Lake Of Dong Jiang

Wetlands, called "the kidney of nature", is one of the ecological landscape rich in biological diversity and one of the most important living environment for human beings, and a distinctive ecologic system of bearing multi-function. Not only does it possess the abundant resources, but also owns the massive function of environment regulating and environmental benefits. All kinds of wetlands play a essential role in the climate regulating, waterhead controlling, flood diversing, silt depositing and land establishing, environment clearing, biological diversity protecting, productive and living resources providing.The evaluation of the resources of wetlands is the base of wetlands protecting and resonally utilizing. The functions of wetlands are various, but they are bearing obvious differences in the aspects of benefit and value in view of the differences of style, local nature and geography and social economic conditions of society. Wetlands is a distinctive system with providing many kinds of resources. If the different users determine the exploiting way of resources of wetlands only based on themselves benefits, they often neglect even destroy the other functions and benefits of wetlands.Therefore, it not only promote the development of investigation of wetlands and cataloguing, provide comparable and using-broadly data for the monitor and researches of wetlandsand its resources, raise our level of wetlands researching and monitoring and protecting, but also offer reliable bases in the course of programming and exploiting of wetlands, ensure the sustainable utility of wetlands and its resources.This study is based on the resources analysis of Dongjiang lake wetlands (artificial reservoir type), selecting 12 criteria for the benefit evaluation. The criteria are list as follows:water compensating, climate regulating, pollution degradating, erosion resisting, biological diversity functions (function as gene depot, function as important species habitat, function as migratory birds provisional habitat), water supplying, flood diversing, function of social culture, energy producing, hydraulic transporting, tourism function and wetlands product providing.By using level analysis, we established a criteria system for Dongjiang lake wetlands benefit evaluation. Weight values have been set to criteria in which the 3 main values are flood diversing (valued 27.13%), water compensating (valued 11.82%) and climate regulating (valued 10.90%). It is evident that the social benefits and ecological benefits are greater than the economic benefits.Based on the established benefits evaluation criteria system of Dongjiang lake wetlands, we ensured the value of each benefit criteria, by a serial of evaluating approach, such as conditional value approach, cost approach, market value approach, shadow construction approach, substitude cost approach etc. The resource value of Dongjiang lake wetlands have be evaluated to be 1.26×1010 yuan.
