Dust is the main port of air pollutants in China, coal, ore stockpiling and handli- ng of the dust source diffusion process often constitute the main body of dust pollution in the port.At present few studies on dust in the atmosphere of the proliferation and mig- ration, it is necessary for the dust characteristics of the port, further analysis of its imp- act on the environment.Based on the Caofeidian port and ore of the sources of pollution investigate- on, the concentration of particulate matter in ambient air monitorring situation, the co- ncentration distribution, ore particlesize distribution, particlesize distribution, which gets the following conclusions:1. Nine pollution sources such as ore docks, coal terminal, stacker points, road wo- rk place, dust-proof net, etc which of ambient concentrations of particulate matter in the status of the monitoring results show that all sources of pollution wind speed range, the maximum concentration, distance and exceeded the scope range of the maximum concentration,can be described as follows: the wind speed range of 1.9~4.9m/s, the max- imum concentration in the range of 0.43~7.67mg/m3, exceeding the national stand- ard ratio range: 1.68~7.67 times, the corres-ponding distance of maximum concentration occurred 5~50m.2. From the results of monitoring the particle size of ore we can see that below 0.3- mm, brazil concentratet accounts for 83.2%, brazil cribble accounts for 25.3%, Mic- hael powder accounts for 27.0%, Baka powder accounts for 0.3mm %, nickel ore acco- unts for 46.8%. nine monitoring points equivalent diameter less than 10μm particl- es accounted for 100%.3. The monitoring concentration of particulate accords with national existing stan- dard at the barbed wire external and dust guard, there is no other dustmonitoring sit- es measure the concentration of particulate are exceeded, the excessive rate is 66.7% to 100%. And the concentration where have dust guard is not excessive, indicating dust control measures was necessary to be taken by the port terminals.4. According to various ore ore terminal moisture content after spray of 8% -10% in the range of natural wind ore terminal loss calculated the emissions of particulate matter, it can be drawn ore port in Caofeidian yard is about the annual emission factor 0.6.5. We used ADMS model to predict the coal and ore docks, and the predictted point of maximum concentration in the range 2.044~6.547 mg/m~3, corresponding to a landing distance of between 5m to 50m . Forecast trends and monitor the same value to verify the rationality of selection mode.
