With the fast development of science and technology, the materials science has been developed fastly. Composite materials, for their excellent performances,have been utilized more and more widely in many important industry fields, such as aerospace, automobile, military production,and so on. Particulate reinforced composites an one kind of composite materials, which has many excellent performances in many fields. On the one hand,the material properties can be improved by the particulate inclusions, the stiffness and the specific stiffness can be enhancd infinitly, and also about intensity index. On the other hand, the strength of fracture and fatigue would be decreased at the same time. The results depend on the size, shape, properties, and spatial distribution of those second phase inclusions. Simulation of the behaviors of such composites, influenced by numerous microstructures, is one of the significant topics in the field of mechanics and material science. The main contribution in this paper can be listed as follows:1. Based on the Voronoi Cell Finite Element Method(VCFEM) which was proposed by Ghosh, after considering the matrix-inclusion damage and crack extending, the Voronoi Cell Finite Element Method that can describe the crack closure of elastic materials has been proposed in this paper. In the phase of crack closure, a new remeshing algorithm is proposed for simulating the process of crack closure accuratly. The accuracy and efficiency of proposed methods are verified by comparison with the general nonlinear finite element codes. At the same accuracy, the present methods is faster, and have the advantage of mechanics computation for real particlate reinforced composites, in which multiple inclusions are randomly distributed.2. Through calculating the crack closure of elastic materials, and then plastic calculating theory has been introduced. The Voronoi Cell Finite Element Method can be proposed, which can consider the matrix-inclusion damage and crack extending, and also can consider the situation about crack closure of plastic materials. Some program have been compiled with Fortran 90, which can achieve the aim about calculating the crack closure of plastic materials. With the post-processing of the calculating results, the accuracy and efficiency of proposed methods of plastic materials calculating are verified by comparison with the general nonlinear finite element codes.3. Through calculating the stress and strain of elastic-plastic materials and simply analysing the fatigue property of materials, which can get that the Voronoi Cell Finite Element Method can also play an important role in fatigue analysis. The Voronoi Cell Finite Element Method is more simply than other methods, and some simply results can be obtained in fatigue analysis.
