As the important citys'centralized water supply source, Fenhe reservoir and its upstream surface water possess a significant supporting and guaranting function to the sustainable development of society and the provincial capital of Taiyuan. Moreover,in order to hold up the water environment function longly,the primary assignment is to proceed the comprehensive treatment on pollution sources. The control and management to non-point pollution sources are difficult especially.Therefore,it is provided with the vital practical significance and application value to research the characteristic and the load of non-point pollution of Fenhe reservoir'supstream watershed.By simultaneous monitoring of water quantity and quality of outlet monitoring sections of the upper reach of the river during the flood period in the watershed study method and on the basis of water quality analysis and pollution assessment, analyzing variation characteristics of the main pollutants with flood session, calculating the pollutants load of non-point source during flood season and non-flood season, and proposing comprehensive measures controlling the pollutants of non-point source according to the types, the cause and the load characteristics of the main pollutants of non-point source of the upper reach of the river.This article mainly includes the following research contents:(1) Through the analysis and research on water pollution situation of Fenhe reservoir upstream watershed,the existing problems was find and the research purpose was put forward.The related domestic and overeas research trends were collected and organized from three aspects respectively,which included the non-point pollution theory research progresses,the non-point pollution test research progress and non-point pollution calculation model research progress,an easonable scheme and feasible research technical route was proposed.(2)On the basis of collection and organization to watershed general situation, reasonable monitoring scheme and content is designed.And based on the analysis on watershed water quality monitoring data, the watershed non-point pollution changing charateristic is studted and non-point pollution is calculated.(3) The non-point pollution types and reasons for the watershed is summarized and the measures and suggestions of pollution control are put forward.The results showed that during the floods period, non-point pollutant concentration reduce gradually along with the floods orders,main pollutants are chemical oxygen demand (cod),total nitrogen,biochemical oxygen demand,nitrate nitrogen.According to the results directional control measures are put forward. Limited of time and energy, the research content is defective, in the later study and work it needs further research.
