High-speed machining is a promising advanced manufacturing technology for increasing productivity and reducing production costs dramatically.High-quality machine tool is the precondition for realizing high-speed machining,high-speed motorized spindle is acritical unit of the machining center.The static and dynamic stiffness of motorized spindle system become a difficult problem,which directly influences its function.So,it is important to study the static and dynamic characteristics of High-Speed motorized spindle for designning.In this paper,elaborate many technical problems in design of spindle structure,and find out solutions methods,the structure of spindle is designed.The static and dynamic performances of the High-Speed motorized Spindle are studied with ANSYS software by FEM.Details of studies are as follows:1.Has carried on the summary to this high speed electricity main axle unit's structure of the topic, and has studied the static and dynamic characteristic of common main axle unit.2.By the modeling and analysis of force characteristics for Angular Contact Ball Bearing,obtained the simple calculation method for static stiffness of Angular Contact Bearing, has promoted the static rigidity formula of cylindrical roller bearing,the Bearing of Electricity Main Axle on the static stiffness were calculated; and the influence of preload on static stiffness of Angular Contact Bearing is studied,through carries on dynamics characteristic analysis to the high speed Angular Contact Bearing and the Cylindrical Roller Bearing,summarizes one kind simpler,the precise bearing dynamic stiffness formula.3.A two-dimensional FEM model of the motorized spindle is built up with ANSYS,the static stiffness of spindle is studied and the influence of preload on it is also analysis in detail.4.A more accurate three-dimensional FEM model of the motorized spindle is established.Based on the model,the modal and response characteristics of the motorized spindle are analyzed.The natural frequency,vibration mode and limited speed are studied.The influence of preload on first set of natural frequency of spindle is analyzed.The maximum dynamic displacements of the front end, rotor and sensor on the motorized spindle are studied,therefore,the rationality of the motorized spindle design and construction will be validated.5.Has carried on the optimization through the ANSYS optimization design function to structure of the motorized spindle.
