In this thesis, the surface layer of the constructed wetlands which deal with the sewage treatment of Northern teacher's apartment in Agricultural University of Jiangxi is selected as a research target layer. Physical and chemical monitoring are carried out on the five sampling points in the surface layer, and protozoan monitoring are carried out on the four sampling points were the four original animal monitoring. Also, the PFU method is used to monitor the biomes situation in the sampling points in each season. Combined with the studies on structure and functional characteristics of the protozoan biomes on the five sample points and the physical and chemical indicators analyzed simultaneously, the results show that:About 147 kinds of protozoan's have been detected in the process of the investigation, including ciliates accounted for 69.7%, lamblia 23.4%, amoeba 2.9% and other 4%.PFU protozoan community groups in the constructed wetland have the following seasonal distribution of change:summer>spring>autumn>winter. Water quality in the constructed wetland reflected by the changes of the structural parameters has the following condition:summer>spring>autumn>winter. The dominant species are also obtained here.The structural parameters of protozoan biomes in constructed wetland have significant seasonal and spatial distributional changes:spring>autumn>summer>winter. The corresponding structural parameters of each season are as following:precipitation tank> surface flow pooll>surface flow pool2>surface flow pool3. Besides, species number S and abundance D of protozoan have the characteristics of vertical distribution.The functional parameters of protozoan biomes in constructed wetland also have significant seasonal and spatial distributional changes:for T90%, spring>autumn> summer>winter, spring and winter are of little difference. The variation trend of functional parameters consists with that of structural parameters. Water quality of wetlands at all levels reflected by the functional parameters corresponds to that reflected by the structural parameters. Both are indicative of wetland purification process.Correlation analysis between protozoan biomes and environmental factors, species number, diversity index are positively correlated with temperature, while abundance is negatively correlated with water temperature; species number, abundance, diversity index, and NH3-N are negatively correlated, species, species number and abundance are negatively correlated with TP.The water quality conditions reflected by the structural and functional parameters of the protozoan biomes via the PFU method consisted with the physical and chemical indicators, which fully prove the efficiency of both PFU Method and physical and chemical factors on the water. It may be concluded that the properties of PFU protozoan biomes is applicable to the quick monitoring of water quality in wetland, thus provide new ideas for water pollution monitoring and result evaluation, and then provide the scientific basis for comprehensive treatment and improvement of water quality in wetland.
