The thesis aims to optimize the flow filed and the structure of electrochemical reactor, using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Because this method can save a lot of time and cost, from the results of this study, Computational Fluid Dynamics can be widely applied in the optimization of electrochemical reactor.Zinc-Bromine Flow Battery is one kind Redo flow battery, with great application prospect and potential. There are some characteristics of Zinc-Bromine Flow Battery closely relate with the electrolyte flow state, especially in the cathode side. Uniform fluid distribution state is the guarantee of stable operation. Meanwhile, effectively transmission of reactants to the surface of chemical reaction region will be helpful to improve the battery performance. Because of the structural characteristics of the battery, it's very hard to receive measuring result directly. So using CFD technology, we can know the flow state of the battery, and through the simulation results, it will be easier to improve the structure and get optimized battery structure.Barrel plating is widely used in microelectronics manufacturing, because electronic components can be electroplated in bulk. Electronic components randomly distribute in each corners of the barrel. So. at anytime and anywhere, each component is in different electroplating environmental conditions. The evenly distributed coating thickness is a very important indicator. The uniform current distribution affects efficiency of electroplating and quality of product, while the current distribution depends on potential distribution and local concentration of reactants. conductivity and shape, mutual position and polar characteristic of electrodes. Mass transfer often coexists with chemical reaction, affects chemical reaction process, and even becomes the control factor of chemical reaction. So grasping the mass transfer process has very important sense. So using CFD technology, we can know the flow state of chips in the barrel, and through the simulation results, it will be easier to improve the structure and get optimized battery structure. Based on the results of CFD simulation, the thesis argues that CFD can serve as an effective method of optimizing electrochemical reactor.
