As the oil into the high water cut stage, the overbalance contradictions between reservoir and oil recovery was intensified, the effectiveness of measures of historical wells was worse year by year, the rate of water increased was further accelerate, the adjustment scope of pattern of well was less and less, the rate of production decline was further speed up, the difficulty of exploitation was greater, so it is main direction of research fields to find a good technology which effect well, can further enhance the development effectiveness. Cyclic water injection is one of the effective methods to improve the effect of oilfield development, with small investment, rapid, reduce the inefficient output and improve oilfield development benefits overall advantages. In this paper, the mechanism of cyclic water injection method had a detailed theoretical analysis, According to the geological features of the oilfield, using petrel modeling software to establish the phased geological model of cyclic water injection in different types of sand body. Simulation model of studied area is simulated by Eclipse, and matching water flooding history, which satisfies the precision request. The researchment of cycle water injection in different types of sand body was conducted by numerical simulation, the results showed that in different types of sand body, cyclic water injection is better than conventional water injection; Reasonably time of cyclic water injection and injection rate are difference in different types of sand body. The reasonable working system of cycle water injection in different types of sand body was researched, the results showed that at the same condition of water injection cycle, the development effect of synchronous periodic water injection performed better than that of asynchronous periodic water injection. The reasonable operational procedure of every type of sand body was that production wells would have long-term productions if water was injected into injection wells for 6 months and stopped for another 6 months. The research results will provide a theoretical reference to improve the development effects and control the velocity of water rising in Tenth-section in Nouthern Xingnan Pure Oil Zone.
