High-speed high-precision machine tools have become the main direction of the machine tool s development, within all the factors of affecting the accuracy, thermal errors become more important, Studies show that the higher the machine tool, the impact will be greater, and the proportion even come to 70%, so in this paper the follow work is did under the national 863 project the dynamic characteristic online test system of the top grad CNC machine :1) According to the requirement of the project, a set of motorized spindle test platform is built, based on the PLC platform, applying the eddy current displacement sensor and the heat resistance temperature sensor, a test system measuring thermal error and temperature of spindles is developed;2) Based on the heat transfer, the heat source and cool conditions of the motorized spindle system is analyzed, using the finite element software ANSYS , the finite element method about temperature field and thermal deformation is summarized;3) A thermal error model using the multiple regression method, BP neural network and RBF neural network is established, comparing the characteristics of the three methods, the main conclusions are present;The outcome of the dissertation provides a theoretical basis to improve the precision of the motorized spindle, and it also laid foundation for the study of the machine tool thermal characteristics.
