Development Of Protection Device Of Y41 Press

Press has been widely used in lots of fields as an important tool of production all around the world. But there is a long way to go before it is safe enough. Although many measures have been taken, the results are unsatisfactory. There are a large number of casualties in stamping production every year, the security situation is extremely critical. For small scale press, the security situation is rather worrying. This article is to design a security for 3 small-scale punch based on infrared devices, which belong to the Materials of Science and Engineering Experiment Teaching Center of HUST( Huazhong University of Science &Technology), to ensure the safety of the operator's.This paper describes the entire development process of the protection devices, which includes the working principle of the protection devices, hardware design, software design, mechanical structure design, and devices debugging, and so on.In the working principle part, the relevant knowledge of the infrared as well as the working principle of the protection device has been introduced, so as to provide a reliable theoretical basis for the follow-up design; In the hardware design part, there is a related introduction about the mapping software Protel99SE and single-chip technology. The transmitter and receiver circuit of the infrared, power supply circuit design have been made more detailed description. In software design, the flow chart shows how to the software control sending the signal in different time in the transmitter circuit, receiving and processing the signal, and open or turn-off the press, and achieve their protective function ultimately; To the mechanical structure design, the design principles of mechanical structure and the process of determining the final program are discussed; To the debugging part of the device, a detailed description of hardware and software debugging of the protective devices has been given. What's more, Anti-jamming and installing of the positioning of the mechanical structure are essential complement to the debugging part of the device. The summary of the whole design of protection devices is given at the end of the paper.
