Research On Automatic Registration Of Large-size Measurement

The 3D measurement of large-size is becoming the main direction of industrical measurement with the development of modern industrial manufacturing technology. The traditional measuring methods can not meet the requirements of measurements of large-size, which make the research of Large-size Measurment become the current hotspot. With the way of position of binocular vision and the portability of grating measurement system, this paper focus on a assembled measurement of large-size based on CCD images, the mainly work in the theory of thc measurement systems and the automatic registration of point datas.First this paper puts foward a new Large-size measurement based on CCD images, which is made up of the position system of CCD images and the 3D scanner of grating. The portability of grating measurement system makes the measure of large-size easy from multi-position or multi-angle. There are there mark points on the grating scanner which help to locate the 3D measureing system .The CCD locating system can locate the grating scanner with the there mark points in time and calculate the rotation matrix and translation matrix.Secondly, this paper do research for the automatic registration of points dates, which is the key technology of Large-size measurement technology .According to the requirement of high efficiency of Large-size Measurement., the paper advise the automatic registration of points datas with a appending reference frame which is founded of the mark points.As the large rotating angle of Large-size Measurement,the papar choose The singular value decomposition of a matrix for the main algorithm.of Coordinate Transformation, precision of which is highest.Finally, taking account in the conditions of the laboratory, the paper design a Large-size measurement experiment based on the CCD images to validate the measuerment way in the paper.The result has proved that the assembled measuring system can satisfy the requirement of the industrial Large-size measurement, and realize the automatic registration of points datas.
