The prediction and control of combustion fronts position is the key to the success of in-situ combustion.In the combustion process,it's important to know the fronts position at any time.Only with the combustion fronts radial distance then the intensity of gas injection at different stages could be adjusted well and the corresponding control measures could be took,so the combustion fronts could promote steady and uniform,in order to achieve the optimal oil recovery effect.This paper analysised the theory of In-Situ combustion,by use of the CMG numerical simulation software simulated the production process of in-situ combustion,analysised and summarized the modern theory of fronts prediction methods.On the basis of mature modern well testing technology applied,derived the well test method for predict the combustion fronts based on the test was probable,carried out shut-in injection well,changing injection volume and shut-in production well to calculation and analysis the combustion fronts,on the basis of theory possible applied the shut-in injection well testing at the first time in internal field,with the one-dimension disperse wavelet transform pretreatment for the well testing data could reinforcing the predict accuracy of combustion fronts position,it's a good combustion fronts prediction method.The paper at first time analysised field application of tracer for prediction of combustion fronts,achieved predicting the combustion fronts position and tendency from the whole well groups,it's significant for adjusting each well parameter in field.
