Porphyrin compounds are a special class of macrocyclic conjugated aromatic compounds, they have been widely discovered in nature and life process, which played a particularly important role. Because the molecule of porphyrin is both rigid and flexible, has properties such as electronic buffer, photoelectric magnetic and high chemical stability, since 30 years ago in the 20th century, people had been researching in the field of porphyrin chemistry. Porphyrin compounds in photoelectric materials, catalysts , dynamic therapy, and light colour-display reagent etc. has been widely studied.Because the unique structure of porphyrin compounds, excellent physical, chemical and optical characteristics make it widely applicated in bionics, life sciences, medicine, materials science, electrochemistry, photophysics and chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry and other fields。In recent years, using porphyrin unique electronic structure and optical performance, the design and synthesis of photoelectric functional materials and the development of photoelectric devices has become a very active field of research at home and abroad. Especially the synthesis, light physical and chemical properties of porphyrin polymers plays an important role ine the field of the research and application of modern porphyrins.In this thesis, the first 5, 10, 15, 20-tetra (4 - pyridyl) zinc porphyrin was used to cultivate the mercury complexes of single crystal, and its structure was determined, and the complexes photoelectric performance was preliminary studied.The second, several N-heterocyclic porphyrins were synthesized, characterized, and its optical and electrical properties of mercury complexes were studied preliminary.The third, a new type of meso-tetra (m-methoxy pyridyl) porphyrin and its zinc complex were synthesized, characterized, and studied. Meso-tetra (m-methoxy pyridyl) porphyrin and its zinc complex of spectral properties were studied.
