As the emission regulations about the SO2 pollutant discharge of the states are getting more and more rigorous, the study of efficient desulfurization agent is also more and more attention. In the past few decades, countries in the study desulfurizer have achieved some results. Combined with the current status of the presence of a large number of alkaline industrial waste, this article will explore the use of scrap iron slag as an additive to preparing high-performance composite desulfurizer, expecting to combine the efficient desulfurization and the waste utilization, achieving environmental and economic win-win.In this topic research, first analyses the theoretical basis of compound desulfurizer flue gas desulfurization, illustrated with chemical properties and reaction mechanism of iron slag has the capability of the desulfurization is also on the use of theoretical model and the analysis of the reaction mechanism, and the selection of desulfurization experiment factors provides theory basis for the determination of all levels.This study selected Kunming Iron and Steel Plant emissions of industrial scrap iron slag, By means of XRD and XRF analysis the chemical composition of steel slag, known iron slag summary contains a lot of alkaline composition and metal oxide, which is good for the desulfurization reaction, initially identified iron desulfurization slag is potential, and can be used as additives for the preparation of complex desulfurizer. Besides, the analysis of specific surface area of pure CaCO3 and Na2CO3, as well as the complex desulfurizer added the iron slag has carried on the qualitative and quantitative analysis. Inspection found that within a certain proportion, adding iron slag will improve the specific surface area of desulfurizer, when join the excess iron slag, specific surface area of the desulfurizer will fall.When the iron slag/Na2CO3 (CaCO3)= 5:1, the complex desulfurizer reach maximum specific surface area. Analysis of the physical properties of the complex desulfurizer detections, can be concluded that use iron slag as additive conditioning complex desulfurizer has the feasibility.In order to further intuitive verify efficient desulfurization performance of the complex desulfurizer, simulated flue gas desulfurization experiment, used the orthogonal method to design the experiment, analysied the orthogonal experiment, and found the Primary and secondary relations of the four factors,as well as the best parameter combination of desulfurization reaction. On the basis of orthogonal experiment to further study the the ratio of desulfurizer and iron slag on the desulfurization efficiency. Study found that with the increase of iron slag addition amount, the complex desulfurizer desulfurization efficiency also increase, when the Na2CO3 (CaCO3)/iron slag=5:1, the desulfurization efficiency reach the maximum, then continue to increase iron slag addition amount, it will decrease the desulfurization efficiency. This conclusion is in line with the specific surface area test conclusion. Then using the complex desulfurizer sulfur capacity experiments under the optimum reaction conditions, detection calculation sulfur capacity of the compound desulfurizer and rate of sulfur capacity.
