Liquid-solid tow-phases flow widely exists in nature. It exists in industrial production and people's daily life. In metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power and other industrial processes, the liquid-solid two-phase medium often appear. For security, economic and efficient, the flow parameters measurement of industrial production process is very important. At the same time, it is helpful to the theory of liquid-solid two-phase study. But the flow of liquid-solid two-phase process has a certain complexity and randomness, so the flow parameters measurement has a certain degree of difficulty.This paper bases on a principle of ultrasound as the research background, using ultrasound correlation method and the principle of attenuation of the ultrasonic wave to measure the sedimentation velocity and concentration of the solid phase. This paper mainly included:1 By learning the relevance of ultrasound knowledge and reading some Chinese and English literatures about ultrasonic flow meter, the measurement methods of this system. are confirmed.2 Deeply study on piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer. Design the hardware circuit of measurement system, according to the transducer characteristics and intention. Including:â‘ Transmit analog circuit:square-wave circuit, practical differential circuit, follow and enlarge circuit;â‘¡Receive analog circuits:amplifier and filter circuit, envelope detector circuit, zero circuit and so on. 3 Reading a lot of datasheet and learning the feature and price of the chips, finally I select the suitable chips for the system.4 After debugging transmit and receiving circuit, I designed and jointed the PCB.
